one little word

every year Ali Edwards, challenges her blog readers to choose a word to celebrate the possibilities that a fresh, new year holds. i have participated for the past few years and tried to live each day with my word in the back of my mind. sometimes i succeed. more often i do not. this year i hope to succeed more and i believe the word i have chosen reflects that hope.

FOCUS...
as a noun: an act of concentrating interest or activity on something.

as a verb: pay particular attention to.

something that has been lacking in many aspects of my life for way too long...
focus on family
focus on me
focus on creating
focus on learning
focus on following through
focus on the wonderful little things of everyday and the big picture of what's to come
focus.
